 People’s Alliance for Credible Elections is looking for Front End Developer for web-based data management system.

Position:                                   Front End Developer

Duty Location:                           Yangon

Number of Position:                  1

Duration of the Contract:        Three months (January 2020 to April 2020)

Reporting to:                           Program Manager

Monthly Salary:                        Minimum 400,000- Maximum 700,000 MMK (no other benefit)

Task and Responsibilities

The programmer needs to develop a web-based data management system to gather, manage, and analyze observer reports and provide a variety of reporting tools, (both in secure and public version) in support of PACE Team. This position is short term and working hours are flexible but expected to work 40 hours per week.

Requirement Qualification

  • Provide at least one project on github or demo site.
  • Understanding of key design principles.
  • Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
  • Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
  • Proficiency in Vue or React or Angular.
  • Workable knowledge of Oauth, JWT and OpenAPI standard.
  • Workable knowledge of WebSocket.
  • Workable knowledge of NodeJS.
  • Prefer experience with hybrid mobile app development.
  • Prefer experience development with Laravel or Lumen as API backend
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.

 

 

Background Information 

People’s Alliance for Credible Elections (PACE) is an independent, non-partisan, non-government domestic election observer group based in Yangon. PACE was founded in 2013 to strengthen democratic institutions in Myanmar through safeguarding citizen rights and promoting public participation in the electoral process. To promote transparency, accountability and inclusiveness in the electoral process, PACE will mainly be working on civic and voter education, election observation and electoral reform.

Upholding the principles enshrined in “Universal Declaration of Human Rights”, PACE’s work will be implemented regardless of race, religion and gender.

Moreover, PACE has signed “Declaration of Global Principles for “Non-partisan Observation and Monitoring” by Citizen Organizations,” which is a document endorsed by more than 260 organization from 75 countries.
