A Study of Hlaingtharyar Industrial Zone Migrant Workers’ Opinion on Elections
PACE conducted a study to find out the opinions/perceptions of domestic migrants in Hlaingtharyar industrial zone on the General Elections. Although we planned to release the findings before the 2020 General Elections, there were limitations caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and the issue of PACE’s accreditation. It is noted that the findings in this report do not represent all the factory workers in Hlaingtharyar industrial zone due to lack of data on the number of factories and factory workers in Hlaingtharyar industrial zone and limitations of sampling strategies on respondents/participants. However, we believe that the findings will be useful for future studies.
